STN FedEx/Atlas pilots

Hi there, just wondering if any of the pilots doing the USA routes from STN are on here and if so, could anyone advise me about the possiblity of hitching a lift somewhere if at all possible? PM me if you have any details please. Many thanks

Are you a crewmember working for an airline in the CASS programme? If not I seriously doubt it, especially with FedEx anyway. I stand to be corrected but I believe there are currently no international jumpseats unless you are a current FedEx crewmember.

Ballyboley,

Atlas is a member of CASS but only infrequently flies through STN. About twice a week through PIK but then to LUX and then back to the USA in HSV.

Flightmech is correct that the Fedex jumpseat international is for their employees ONLY. Same with UPS.

Be more specific if you want help. Whom do you work for and where are you trying to go?

Thumbs down

On all flights within Europe, FedEx does not allow any "foreign" jumpseater onboard their jet aircraft, not even the FedEx employees working at CDG, not even their feeder pilots!

Ah don't worry then, I had a feeling it might be as strict as that - was just wondering about hitching a ride.
Its a shame the good old days like "catch me if you can" are long gone!
