Unitop

Hi There,
I do have the contract, however we are few captain's and first officer that we decided not to go because they hired ABDUL SABOOR, and if you don't know him, try to ask. PM me for the contract. Fly safe and stay wherever you are now.

Question uni-top

Seems like they take forever to get going. Since 2008 if I am not mistaken. What is this Saboor guy's background, does anyone know? Understand he was at Macstar in Turkey for a very short time!

Is he looking for greener pastures, or does he not fit into some of these airlines?

Abdul Saboor

Stay away from Uni-Top as long as Abdul Saboor is there. He is a dangerous man that is on a serious ego-trip. Tries to force flight crews to fly dangerous aircraft. I have proof of this if anybody needs evidence. STAY AWAY

Abdul Saboor & Uni-Top & StarMac Airlines

I was a mechnic at StarMac Airlines & the following is a list of DMIs & most were expired, also the crew flew the aircraft for three months with number 1 generator inop. The MEL list would not be legal in civilized countries. Somebody should report this man to the Chinese CAA & other avaition authorities.
Please find the following items which currently inoperative or needs to be addressed immediately.

1- EGPWS INOP.
2- TCAS INOP.
3- TAT PROBE LEFT SIDE INOP. (IT IS CONTINOUSLY HEATING ON THE GROUND, IF LEFT ON, THE TEPERATURE RISES TO 60 OR 70 DEGREE CELSIUS AND BECAUSE OF THIS OVERHEATS OTHER SYSTEMS SUCH AS EPR LIMIT COMPUTER AND MORE.)
4- GROUND SAFETY RELAY LIGHT ON IN FLIGHT, WHICH MEANS IT PUTS OTHER SYSTEMS SUCH AS THRUST REVERSER ON NO. 1 AND NO. 4 SYSTEM IN FLIGHT MODE AND IT COULD DEPLOY IN FLIGHT. IT IS AN ABNORMAL AND CRITICAL SITUATION.
5- ONE RUDDER PEDAL STEERING IS NOT ENGAGED ON THE GROUND.
6- ALTERNATE TLIT ON LEFT BODY GEAR IS NOT WORKING, IF PRIMARY FAILS AFTER TAKE OFF, CAN NOT RAISE THE LANDING GEAR AND MUST LAND BACK.
7- START VALVE LIGHT ON NO. 2 ENGINE DOES NOT ILLUMINTE.
8- START VALVE ON NO. 1 ENGINE COMES ON DURING FLIGHT, THE CHECKLIST CALLS FOR SHUTTING DOWN THE ENGINE IN FLIGHT IF CONDITION PERMIT.
9- ALTITUDE SELECT FEATURE DOES NOT WORK AND IT COMMANDS THE AUTOPILOT TO LEVEL OFF THE AIRPLANE 2000 FEET ABOVE THE SELECTED ALTITUDE AND STOPS DECENDING TO THE DESIRED ALTITUDE.
10- NO. 1 ENGINE N1 GUAGE INOP.
11- NO. 1 ENGINE CSD STILL INOP.
12- NO. 4 THRUST REVERSER STILL INOP.
13- NO. 10 BRAKE NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, HAS REACHED ITS LIMIT.
14- NO SPARE TIRES, 2 TIRES NEEDS TO BE CHANGED IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.
15- APU BLEED DUCT LEAKING AND CAUSES EXCESSIVE HEAT IN THE AFT CARGO COMPARTMENT, IT COULD BE A FIRE HAZARD, NEEDS NEW SEALS.

Hey Classicpilot,
I guess you forgot that he was FIRED from Orient Thai, Phuket air, Medix, Orex air, and MESABA in USA. He was claiming that he was a COO for a company in Thailand that NEVER exist, only on paper, check with THAI DCA.

Unitop

I have posted elsewhere, but as all the threads mentioning UT seem to drift, I will shamelessly cross-post.
UT are not ready yet. Those in the recruitment process are however being told that they will travel to China as soon as they have done all the paperwork (at the applicants expense of course).

As far as I can tell there is not much chance of Unitop getting going anytime soon (I mean with their own aircraft). The point of contact in China has obviously been told to stall crews. She does this by dreaming up more and more obscure requirements which are 'required' before travel. This has not stopped them interviewing more and more to add to ' the list'.

Quite a while....

Unitop has been talking about operating their own aircraft for AT LEAST 5-6 years now. Are they any closer now than they were then? I am wondering if this is just wishful thinking..............

And the costs incurred by the applicants are heavy. Multiply this by a few hundred and you can get to very large sums indeed.

Wow...what a "CV" that Mr. Abdul Saboor
BTW, could he be also the same "brain" behind the semi-obscure cargo carriers flying with old 747's at Georgia's EUREX CARGO, Armenia's VERTIR CARGO and VETERAN AVIA or even Pakistan RAYYAN AIR Cargo?

Yes, you asked for any comments?? from Singapore or Southern?? I flew for Singapore and you can ask him Why he was terminated?? I don't know about southern. I know that with Thai Pacific, the company was only on paper and never got there AOC from THAI DCA because of a big failure on paper works. Focus air went under because of him, ask there pilots. Star airlines was already there with there AOC in place, How can he claim that he work for Star airline from 2008 to Present when he was FIRED in May of 2009?? What a Lier !!!!!! They hired him to run the show after his termination from Medix, then he was terminated. Why he never mentioned that he was terminated from Orient Thai, Phuket air, Medix, Star airlines??? Why he never mentioned that he busted 4 tires in Afghanistan trying to make a smooth landing?? Myself and 3 other captains went to China for interview with UNITOP 3 months ago and we met him there, and guess what?? We all left.
Fly safe my friend, by the way we are looking for 744 crews.
