One of the two 747s will be in D-check for 2 months, that is the reason.

They will resume Africa flights in September.

CargoB

So is it just a reduced frequency to Africa (NBO and JNB specifically) ?

Two key backers have walked away from Cargo B. They have now been given some sort of backing from the Belgium govenment but have to move their base from BRU to LGG.

Government backing and the move were unrelated. In fact, the regional government that intervened to help Cargo B was opposed to the move (EBBR is within the jurisdiction of that government, EBLG is not), but Cargo B wants to operate 24/7 without restrictions, no longer an option at EBBR... Good thing Cargo B got their money before moving, else it would be Cargo Been Gone now.

Any one can fill an aircraft up if they offer silly rates.
Cargo B im sure have done this just to get as much cargo onboard as possible.
With the rates currently what they are in the market place I doubt very much this flight made a profit.

Cargo B have cancelled their second rotation in to Africa today. Im guessing they do not have enough freight to cover the cost?
