Rat,

Heard a whisper that UPS was 'looking' at Polar and/or Atlas. Not sure I follow the logic although it is rumoured that UPS 'look' regularly at both the competion & others in similar markets just to get a glimse of the books.

See ya,

Tramp

On some business wire I read UPS is looking at Atlas MX hangers in MIA. Does Atlas have any MX hangers in MIA? Also may purchase 15 747-200 from Atlas.

Atlas currently has no mx hangers in MIA. They are building one, but with the Challenge spaces, why would UPS need hangar space here??? As for the -200 sale, that could be something UPS wants, as their 74 fleet is very old and underpowered. It would be a good fit as I believe Atlas is looking for capital to fund a purchase of twins. Who knows; they just announced an alliance with Volga Denieper, so maybe AACS Moscow or Providenya is on the horizon. I wouldn't put anything past the Lorenzo trained toadies that run this company.
