Question Cougar Airlines?

Congratulations, Rat on THE forum!!!

Has anyone heard of or know anything about a new UK start up apparently called Cougar?

I heard they are operating one pax 727 and looking to add 2 or 3 cargo 727īs but are having a hang-up with the CAA over the doors or something?

Would it be a good outfit to work for?

Thanks in advance...

Hi downand3greens!
I can tell you that a friend of mine was the first one to be hired for the ops about 2 monthes ago, went to air-law test, got it, and...still waiting to fly! aircraft are ready but seems they got some problem with authorities. Cougar is former Sabre... The guys taking care of the contract are storm-aviation, tony atkinson. +44 1293 452727,
pay as F/O is around 3500pounds...Good luck

"Cougar is former Sabre" is not strictly true as sabre has taken the name Excel from the company that took it over.

The sabre chief exec took some of the sabre 727,s as part of the deal to sell sabre to excel ,some sabre people have gone to cougar but these in the main are flight engineers not required on the 737-800.
