Post Australian Endorsements

What are my chances of gaining employment in Europe with Australian CPL/MEI/CIR endorsements? Currently I am doing my CPL/MEI training in Australia and plan to continue on with the CIR when I finish (probably in October 2001) I am a European "citizen" so that won't be a problem.

Errrrrr...

Your only "short term" chance is with airlines registered in countries where a JAR-FCL licence is not yet a requirement (like Greece or Luxembourg) but this situation won't last for long.

This means that with only an Australian licence your chances are pretty close to zero. See the "Wannabee" section for more info on licence conversion from ICAO to JAA.

Good luck !

I am about to commence [not flying] work in UK. Can my Australian CPL be used for private charter of an aircraft?
