Exclamation Canada yo UK??

Ok, just a quick question to get some info. I have a UK passport and a Canadian CPL. There is talk of being able to do your JAR in Vancouver. (About $15000 CD). I am working right now, (turbine), and want to know if converting is worth it to go and work in the UK. I hear that there is a shortage over there? Rumor? Too good to be true? What is the pay like and more importantly, the cost of living? Any thoughts would be great...
