Question EU/JAR ATPL

Hello there
I have a Canadian ATPL and am currently applying for my British passport (father born there). I'm wondering where to find out some info about transferring my Canadian ATPL to an EU ATPL. Does a direct transfer exist? Which country would have the most relaxed rules? I understand that to do it in the UK, you need about a year of courses plus thousands of dollars.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Try Switzerland
If you speak french,even better...
Because in CH,you just need to do the Regulations-Part and a Checkride (and become a bit familiar with the Euro-IFR-Procedures wich takes about 5-10 Simlessons..)
But i guess, you need to sit in the ATPL-Course again,if Canada has the same System like USA (Gleim-test).
Good luck !

Thanks for your reply lifevest; I will look into that. One question though- what did you mean by saying I would have to take the ATPL course again? I'm not sure I understand.
Thanks
