CX Freighter Purchase

CX has taken the options to buy the last 5 B744F freighters which are the last on the line before the 747-800 appears.

they have bought most of SAA B747-400s for P to F conversions as well...

I arrived in HKG today and noticed a great looking CX 747-200 polished freighter, they look good witout the paint job on them!

They look good when shiny, but when they're faded like the NWA freighters, it's not that pretty to look at.

And they are buying Dragonair so they can have even more freighters.
Of course there is no money in freight! Or so they say.

So far they have purchased only two ex SAA -400s - both from ILFC.
