Basically says LH Cargo may move out of FRA should the night jet ban be extended.
Leipzig which is the new home (from 2008) of LH's largest customer (DHL) is a rumoured alternate.

Everything has a big "?" about Leipzig.
The current pros and cons have been thought about, but decisions have not been made about anything.
Recruitment procedure/requirements etc. same as Lufthansa Pax and Condor (all in one seniority list).
Currently over 600 ab-initios form LH-Flt-School waiting to get in and some LH-Cityline folks also very eager.
Currently no chance to get in any other way.

Read elsewhere in the trade journals that LH wouldnt move to LEJ as all of the infrastructure & hub is in FRA. Interline potential currently ex-FRA would be lost and all of their current belly frt capacity on DLH pax flights would not be possible ex-LEJ!
LEJ is miles and miles away from anywhere.
Even though it is rumoured to be cheap & flexible, customers will choose the outcome. LEJ might be fine for an integrator hub, different operation from the cargo part of a pax airline!

LH Cargo is basically running a two-hub operation in FRA and CGN. As Daysleeper says, their biggest costumer is setting up shop in LEJ, making it an intercontinental super-hub. It stands to reason, should LH continue to provide the intercon uplift after DHL moves, that LHC will discontinue operating in CGN and move shop to LEJ. Either that or loose the contract, which is not presently something LHC can afford. One is of course hoping the Junk Adventure, sorry Joint Venture, will come to a grinding halt right quick, and that we'll get our own fleet of intercontintal widebodies. LH's idea of a partnership reminds me of a master and servant relationship - you can imagine which position LHC think they hold!
As for moving out of FRA in favour of LEJ ..... hmm, that would be rather difficult for them, for the reasons stated by ALLDAYDELI. Still, stranger things have happened in this business.
However, the fact that LEJ is in the middle of nowhere is one of it's main attractions for night operations.
