DUS would not surprise me. Air Berlin is having its fair share of drama, and they are our one world connection partner. CPT, PHL, CLT, MEX, MUC, BER (when open), and SEA are apparently being scouted too.

Do any of us really care where we fly? We should care what we are paid to operate, no matter the destination. The company loves to dangle 'expansion' and 'new destinations' whenever they are trying to screw us. Over 20+ years of experience tells me so. Don't even get caught up in the discussion of destinations; they are a red herring designed to distract you.

Oh, come one. Don't you feel excited about the opportunity to spend 24 hours in a new airport hotel in the middle of a 30+ hours duty?

:}

Beat me to it Yonosoy. Maybe Shep can recommend a good 24 hour BBQ Rib delivery for the DFW airport Hilton.

Probably no Chinatown in Dallas or Fort Worth. On the plus side, you can always go to Chick-Fil-A, except on Sundays. God Bless Texas!!!

TODA on 10 is 2850 m which is long enough for MTOW.

And a great VISA-free entry port to the UK post-BREXIT. Hundreds of mainlanders will be queuing up to get on the DUB flight....🤑😡

...great....this is much more important than pay, benefits and retirement. I'm heading to Brussels....the chips and mayonnaise will make up for all of that :ok:

And in a few years when you're told beers have gone out of fashion, they'll pull out of BRU, CPH and DUB and maybe pick another few new exciting destinations.

DUS has money to be made from those pharma giants, it's just CX can no longer keep fooling them with our 'superior premium product' on the 350. EK, EY, NH, SQ fly there too offer way better biz class (and econ for that matter).

Soon it'll be 24 hour stays everywhere so hardly worth the hype.

Ehm, isn't it the PAX who need to be enticed by the destination? Surely you joined to fly...👨*✈️

It's the hype amongst the flight crew I'm talking about.

Yep, CX fears competition. Why fly DFW when you'd have to take on AA head to head on the route? Dublin has no service. Neither does Copenhagen or Brussels. All perfect for CX. SEA? Forget about it. Delta's doing it with an A330-200. Far too scary for skittish, little CX! How would a boutique airline like Cathay compete? Nevermind that Alaska Air would love to codeshare on dozens of domestic flights beyond Seattle, as they do with KE and EK.
