iJourney
It seems to be live but wants a user ID and password. I've tried both PeopleCX ID and GalaCXy ID but neither works. Any ideas or have I been sacked? What are we meant to use?
|
works now without any id.. just straight from page..
Booked an FOC.. seems to be stable.. SADLY.. the muppets didn't tell us we were losing 90% of agreements.. at least in short term, where we could have ordered paper tickets.. I'm livid right now, ANY Canadian travel is now impossible, and anything but AA to US is out too. And if you're from NZ.. we'll.. you're f*cked too.. |
Can still get tickets but need a letter from CX and then a trip to the airline office you want to fly with. Much better system, far more user friendly :ugh:
|
And this is the best they could do?
After YEARS of planning they come up with a system that is quite difficult to navigate and only has a few airlines in it?
I am sure there will be improvements but this is embarrassing for now. |
Silber I read somewhere that if you've got a e-ticket from ijourney it is self listing. In other words you do not need to list.
How you list using a green ticket before they go at the end of March seems impossible, I guess you have to turn up two hours before. |
Seriously, is this the best CX can do???
Can't find any information as to other staff listed or anything. Just the old Green / Red smiley face to advise "probability". We can all guess the accuracy of that  Looks like staff travel just became a whole lot harder than it already was. |
TSIMBIET.
It asked that for me some hrs ago.. now iJourney logs me in right from tab. Perhaps its doing the Galaxy ID's alphabetically or some sh*t. Give it till tomorrow... Like I said it did work.. so long as you want to fly Cathay , Dragon, or amazingly enough Siberian Airways.. (don't try Qantas, Air NZ or Air Canada.. Cannot) |
Just give it some time
Come on people.
The complete transition is a whole weekend project, perhaps longer. Some data may be transferred automatically and others will require a manual input. (such as interline agreement information, etc?). It is also not very difficult to imagine, that the staff-travel part of the transition project will take a back-seat to the customer front end... We all are complaining about the shortsightedness and ignorance of non-aviators, but the above posts are just another point in case, that we are not any different. This "it's all about me" attitude is really not helping anyone. Sad. |
This "it's all about me" attitude is really not helping anyone. Happy to give it some time but I'm not holding my breath. |
What about my alreadt purchased e tickets ( before the change-over)
I can't find them anymore.. Anybody know what to do? |
First Class?
Looks like Priority 26 First Class has disappeared from my profile. I'm entitled to 4 sectors per year but can't find it anywhere.
Any ideas? |
can't get into it now.. wants a password again.:ugh:
|
Mine wants me to set up a PayPal account even though I'm HKG based. Is that normal ?
|
Frogman - you must be VETA HKG. An email was sent on Friday night to saying all VETA employees - even in HKG must use paypal. Thanks for the great notice period! No more direct debit.
looking at the upside - at least you get credit card points for using CX staff travel if you pay by credit card through paypal. Listing - I understand if you use "iFlystaff" the tickets are "Flown" but you have to list with the airline (e.g. BA listing site) except CX/KA where you list on iJourney. If you use "My ID Travel" you are dealing directly with the airline, pay by card and list all in one go. Incidentally I think you wait 4-6 weeks for refund if not used. I think iFlystaff vs. MyIDTravel is a VHS vs. Betamax type thing. One will eventully dominate. It does seem we have lost the ability to see DOJ/priority of other staff travellers - hopefully only temporarily |
So if you do not have a visa/mc linked to a paypal a/c you can not get staff tickets anymore???
Can you still salary deduct or buy the tickets in HKG? |
Online checkin for Staff Zoned tickets doesn't work at the moment.
The system can't seem to find my e-ticket. Hopefully it'll get fixed in the next day or so, but is frustrating at the moment. |
error code AMDCP02
get the above when trying to apply for ticket. After realizing I had to set up a pay pal ac. lets have even more pages to click through please.
Useless |
On MyIDtravel... I can pull up schedules, but when I select a flight to purchase, I keep getting error message "Unknown communication error"
Anyone else getting this error? Anybody know how to fix it? Edit: Only get this error for a Delta flight, Jetblue works fine. |
I've booked an FOC family trip, and never received an email (confirming status/ticket numbers etc). Anyone else?
|
I have also lost my first class benefit. Leisure Travel Policy "under review", last updated 12 Feb on intracx, WTF?
|
Can't check in for FOC flight online.. Can't find ticket number.. ARGHHHH..
So annoying. |
Try Ticket No. 18000
:ok: |
HELP Please
I am not even gonna complain for the obvious.
Benefit Center is unavailable for help which is logical for CX standards. Already have a Paypal account , trying to get tickets with BA and AA(only after FEB 22nd?). Unfortunately I can only select siberian Airlines is that the case with you guys as well? Did I do something wrong? Please help, cause our dear company won't. |
regarding the Questions on first class travel.
I went to one of the briefings by bob. They are now first class sectors not first class ticket entitlement. (they changed this with out telling us). But alas it should be an improvement. The old system was you printed out a F coupon and if you got bumped to J you lost that chance to sit in F. This could even have happened to you on every attempt to use them. Now they are saying we will have x amount of F sectors (depending on your scheme). So if you book F and get bumped to J you still have your entitlement intact. Now he said as there is much more chance you'll actually see the F cabin through the year then they have given us less sectors (not tickets). A slight kick in the balls but then hey he might be right, we may actually see first more often. |
gipilot,
Already have a Paypal account , trying to get tickets with BA and AA(only after FEB 22nd?). Unfortunately I can only select siberian Airlines is that the case with you guys as well? Did I do something wrong? Please help, cause our dear company won't. BA should be there as its effective date was 12-02-2012. AA isn't available until 24-02-2012. |
I don't understand where all these complaints are coming from!
The CE has been saying the whole thing is a success!!!!! Next thing is they will be telling us they have won an award for this system, along with the IMT department. |
We've lost the ability to travel ID90 on a bunch of airlines and this is a success?
What a sad excuse, as usual... |
Waterskier,
I just got the same "Unknown communication error" for DL and IB flights. Great system! |
slickrick,
You previously had 6 F tickets which could be up to 4 sectors each, all useable separately. Now you have 6 returns which if you only book one way loses you the return sector. The only improvement is that if downgraded from F you don't lose the F ticket as you did before. You get refunded either way. Basically, you have lost between 12-18 F sectors.:{ |
ri-god-damn-diculous. Siberia Airlines is the only OneWorld Partner option. What the f*ck?
|
Unknown communication error
Hey everyone,
I just spoke to a nice German guy at Lufthansa Systems Business Solutions, which runs myIDTravel. He told me the "Unknown communication error" is because Cathay is sending data to Delta Air Lines via myIDTravel which is not recognized by Delta Air Lines. So, with data which Delta cannot recognize, no one can make a listing or buy an eTicket or ID90 on Delta. This is an issue which Cathay has to rectify. Get on the horn boys and girls... |
BusyB,
Yeah point taken, but that sounds like an old scheme. I moved onto F tickets a year or so ago and didn't get 6. So its just getting whittled down even more now. So what BN meant was if your on the old scheme you've lost most of your F travel....if you on the new its about even.:{ |
slickrick,
I am talking about the new scheme. The old scheme was unlimited F.:ok: |
It's the other way round - those airlines have lost the ability to ID90 on CX!
|
At least somebody benefits from the new system!!!
|
I'm trying to book my FOC for next week. Impossible. I have paper tickets from 2011 which Benefits centre confirmed I could still use untill march 30th. In my profile, it says I have 4 used sectors for 2011 and none available...
|
email password not working
Ahhhh .... the joys of IT - can't get into my emails guys ... any ideas. Did I miss something in the small print.
Must spend more of my life on IntraCX tks |
Just tried to checkin after using the PSS
(pretty **** software). Agent couldn't find record of listing or etickets. 20 mins later, armed with my eticket numbers after several log in attempts I've a boarding pass |
...soooo, what's happened to all the airlines we used to be able to travel on? Are the airlines listed on the two lists the ONLY airlines we can currently travel on? THIS is what we end up with after who knows how much money is spent on the 'upgrade'....!:ugh:
|
This is a joke. Benefits Centre have said that if you do not see the airline on the list, then we do not have an interline agreement with that airline YET. So if you want to fly, for example, JAL- you need to buy full fare. :ugh: If you had printed tickets before the cutover, you can still use them.
What a massive cockup:mad:. This has inconvenienced so many people. Being informed of a list of available airlines BEFORE the cutover would have helped. Instead they are acting as if the cutover was super successful, congratulating themselves. Come on, we have a handful of airlines that we have interline agreements with that you would never fly.:D Having said all that, I really shouldn't be suprised by all of this. |
