Spring Offensive begins

Green light has been given to the People department at the flag carrier, to arrest flagging morale, high sickness rates and high resignation rates. Please note your recent comms.

SS party ranks within the People Department (a unit supposedly set up to “help and care for pilots”) have been expanded recently to support a sharp rise in D&G cases, and People people are now working with fleet offices 7 days a week, to investigate pilots and attempt to find any breaches of policy, including minor administrative issues of little to no relevance.

Cases are being built and “charges” are being presented at kangaroo court hearings, 3 against one style, with no reps allowed. Heading the hearings, with a new ferocity and level of vindictiveness, is the Airbus CP. Guilty findings are assured, and punishments or sackings follow, with little to no recourse. No one is safe.

DCPs are being used to interview and coerce line crews into making allegations about other crew members on line flights, to build cases. Spies, in the form of management F/Os, are now being placed on flight decks to gather intel for disciplinary hearings.

As trainers hit 100-120 hrs p/month, the return of Hitlerjugend aka Training F/Os, is imminent. Fast tracking of Management F/Os for Command is also imminent, as they feel they are not getting the respect they deserve.

OLRs are being conducted by Management F/Os, 2 against one style, on Captains and Training Captains. Once again no representation is allowed. Any remaining level of decency to investigate someone with an interviewer of equivalent or higher rank, is long gone.

Airbus fleet forums, normally a once a year management meet and greet in any normal airline, have been turned into technical interrogations, and any comments made under alleged freedom of speech circumstances, are taken down, and followed up later in D&G circumstances as described above. Subjects are forced to ask a question, and then D&G’d at a later time, if the question was deemed to be requiring of corrective thought reeducation.

FDAP is being weaponised to fight the repercussions of the COS 18 contract, and Senior management pilots now spend their days monitoring park brake usage and taxi speeds, and sending emails to pilots to “help” with their “development”.

Those lucky enough to escape from Stalag 17, are in cases stripped of their lifetime staff travel and Christmas bonus as they walk out the door. All others that have taken as much as they can take and resigned, are stripped of any salary increments in the last year, as they are no longer part of the “team”.

iPads are remotely wiped and access to the office is suspended, requiring resigning, retiring or sacked pilots to be escorted by security through the building, to complete their remaining administrative tasks, like a convicted criminal.

Dystopian nightmare is somewhat of an understatement, where it is impossible to stay, but impossible to leave.

The implosion of the Association has unleashed an angry, greedy, toxic monster at the flag carrier. The Seniority list is stubbornly stuck at 2400, and despite a global campaign to recruit the dregs of the remaining unemployed pilots, the bucket continues to leak at a faster rate than it is filling up.

Cabin crews, who continue to work at breakneck speed in the cabin, have had their bluff called twice, and are now to be awarded a Contract required a minimum of 90 hrs/month.

The malignant cancer has spread throughout the flag carrier, requiring emergency surgery to remove the entire management structure and People department, and rebuild from the ground up.

Best wishes for those returning😁

The beatings will stop as soon as the morale improves.
Morale has not improved since COS 94 was implemented and the A scale declination.
Ask any of the 1000 pilots whom have left, what they miss and I'd reckon there is very little and what it is no longer exists under COS18 and the 2020 forced changes.

Sure, "many" guys will return. And for a variety of reasons. How many? Let's say 100 do come back; I can see the company crowing about "hundreds" retuning, when in reality 100 out of 1000 is a pretty small number.

There are many FOs who voluntarily bypassed command to stay on a base who might now be interested in coming back just for that. A quick command, two years in hell and then hopefully move on again.

Europeans, Aussies and North Americans have options right now, Kiwis and South Africans not so much, maybe the ME.

Horses for courses, and CX will be making another mistake to assume that "all is fine".

That's all good... But I don't think anyone in Asia let alone Hong Kong is going to listen to that. Any such proposal put to any airline in the GBA will be expeditiously used as toilet paper! Followed by further beatings!

The most senior CX pilot will now be earning less than a 2 year regional Captain in the USA. Never mind the $500-$750K per year that senior pilots in the US are now being paid.

Mngmt Mole, it’s sad isn’t it?

The best members in any profession are attracted to, recruited by and employed by premier firms and organisations. They are compensated accordingly. The organisations and firms that pay peanuts and treat their employees as punching bags can only attract people that are unemployable in any other first world country.

CX was once a premier organisation where only the best in the industry were recruited and employed. Due to a toxic management, and a sycophantic/psychotic flight ops team, all that was once great at CX has been squandered away.

The reputation of CX has become a cautionary tale that has spread far and wide and lamented throughout the industry.

The saddest part is that our management still meet daily around the table congratulating themselves on a job well done.
