VFR Phraseology?

I apologise for being the annoying one with the question but I've been wanting to know this for quite a while now - does anyone know how VFR (especially the phraseology bit) works in HK? As in is it more a UK system with the ATCO instructing you to track between entry/exit routes or a more FAA system where you can just go (mostly) wherever you want within the airspace? Examples of RT phraseology would be great. Thanks!

It is more like the UK sytem.

When in the controlled zone, the ATC will expect you to track via the VFR routes and make calls at the VFR reporting points.

When in uncontrolled area, u only need to tell them you are there for traffic information purpose, you can do **almost** whatever you want.
