Transit on GD then as pax
Can't find a definitive answer online. Is one allowed inbound on the GD then depart as pax? Is RAT or PCR testing required? Reference please? Thanks. Ex HKer, would love to see it one more time!!!

If your arriving as non local aircrew then currently I don't see how this would be possible as you are subject to isolation during your entire stay in Hong Kong, and you aren't permitted to enter the local community.
However if you work for one of the HK airlines then yes it's permitted. We all do it all the time, but of course you will have to quarantine and submit to all the Covid testing requirements to enter the community like we do every flight. The crazy thing is it's easier to enter the hk community and less restrictive if you arrive as a pax than aircrew who started their duty in hk, isolated in their hotel room overseas and return to hk.
