Why would they not hire ex Dragon instead?

I just don't understand it, people are complaining about time with family, time in isolation or mental health yet these same people are just asking for more confirmation and assurance that they will get their money if they in the loop and you get sent to PB!

When you consent to a CL, EDTF and TERPs you are virtually consenting to being locked up for months in isolation with a very strong chance of going to North Lantau Prison/AWE or worse PB!

It's beyond a joke . CX pilots have themselves to blame.

With all that said this is all in my own opinion and happy landings I will enjoy my time off in a beautiful country.

We (pilots) do what we do as a dedication to our profession. We do all we can to assist in furthering the company that pays our bills. But when that company turns around and devalues our profession and our dedication then we take a stand by resigning or not volunteering to do these closed loops.

If you know what is really going on then you’ll realise that ANYONE can get sent to PB for just being in the vicinity of anyone who tests covid positive.

You don’t need to move away from aviation to have a good life. You DO, however, need to move away from Cathay Pathetic as quickly as you can, and re-joy aviation. Thankfully, I left that circus and those clowns more than a decade ago. What a sh@t show! So sorry for my friends still left behind. May the force be with them all! LEAVE when you can.
