35 Sim Instructors Resign
You get the employees you deserve. Who would of thought?
Put the worlds smallest violin on standby for next time you bump into an "overworked" STC.
"Market forces" anybody?

Good for the instructors standing up for themselves. If more pilots took a stand, aviation would be a better place, (Covid notwithstanding).
Just as a reminder! There were a lot of utterly, outdated and crappy Sim instructors (Gweilos, minus 1 on Singaporean) back in the 2000-2010s. Not sure if some of those were cleared out over the later years. Just saying.

No not in unison. The grandfathering of their contract was for 12 months and they have slowly been departing in the lead up to that expiring. Perhaps a sign of things to come in the next 6-12 months as the pilot grandfathering expires.

A previous company I worked for used Training First Officers for sims - they were all taken upto TRE as part of the job. They were some of the best trainers I’ve had.
It was a good way of nurturing talent early and keeping pilots engaged when time to command was decades.
