It is relevant.

This travel bubble was to be the test case for the world to follow.

Small steps.

You haven’t factored in the ineptitude of our Gov.

I say it again... what is the end game here in this region?

This virus is so ingrained in the population globally, it is going to be impossible to irradiate for a long time, perhaps years. Even with a vaccine, it "only" has a 90-95% efficacy, but is clearly a good result. There will still be minor numbers of cases in many countries, not just after a widespread rollout, but in any case 99.5% of people make a full recovery. Surely there needs to be a balance here, rather than governments continue to crash their own economies?

Are countries such as HKG and SIN going to prevent foreigners inbound travel without a vaccination certificate? If so, Cathay may as well be targeting their spring marketing campaign at octogenarians!

And the vaccine only protects against 1 of 3 strains.

More bad news: also with or without the inoculation Covid virus can happily exist inside your throat whether you have been immunised or not.

AND any potential vaccine will likely be effective against ONE type of coronavirus. There are an infinite spectrum of them. Ya can't shut the world down over a flu but there are people who have tried and done great harm in terrifying the world. So's things won't be back to 'normal' for quite awhile. Or at least until the puppet masters run out o' stuff and reap the rewards of what they've sowed.

Annual flu deaths in US is 35-43k.

Covid deaths in US so far 250k.

If you the Minister of health would you make the call that it's just a 'normal' flu don't be scared and get on with life?.

Most of them with co- morbidity. A death rate of 0.08%. I’ll take those odds.

Deaths caused by smoking each year in the US, 500,000, yet cigarettes are still for sale.

Yup, you couldn't make this madness up if you tried. The most epic case of mass hysteria in modern human history. The UK acknowledged on Friday that the total deaths from "all causes" over the past 12 months were barely any different than the previous 12 months. Ponder that statistic...

Take this with a grain of salt as it is a Danny article. I feel that it will only be a matter of time until CX is locked out of their own city with the draconian Department of Health in charge. How long can the economy keep running in this case. At least the north is happy.

CX were banned for two weeks from flying into HK from MNL a couple of months ago. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a two week ban coming from LHR.
Sing bubble ain’t gonna happen for a long time.
