Hk-Sin bubble not hapenning
We just can't catch a break

What's happened? Today's operations update said it was set to kick off this weekend.
|
12 with previous links and 9 without. I believe that the requirement is an average of 5 non linked cases per day over a 7 day period before it is called off.

Yuan Guoyong said that the epidemic in Europe and the United States is very serious. A large number of international students will return to Hong Kong during the Christmas holidays. "One line will stop all flights, but it is inhumane." He believes that it is possible to consider suspending the entry of flights from high-risk areas and extending the return to Hong Kong. During the quarantine period, quarantine is mandatory for the first 14 days, followed by 7 days of home quarantine, and testing to ensure that there are no problems before entering the community. |
No final decision yet, non bubble flights are still available.

Great. Testing, 3 hours flight plus a few hours isolation to see a different mall.
Can't wait. |
if you see both HK and SIN as merely a collection of malls you have a sad life ...
|
If you think Singapore is worth that kind of trip I am not sure who has the sad life. Not holding you back!
|
The SIN and HKG of 20 years ago perhaps. Right now that’s about all the modern day traveller sees. Shopping malls. And if they haven’t had enough of that they can experience their final fix at the big shopping mall, with an airport attached.
Along with that other excrescence. DXB. One big lala land. And they’re about to discover how vacuous and hollow basing ones’ entire economy on that is. Bit like relying on mainland spending power to bail you out of the sh@t. |
Breaking Coronavirus: Hong Kong-Singapore travel bubble ‘postponed by two weeks’, with Chinese city facing surge in Covid-19 cases
SCMP reports it but CNA still says its on |
S'pore-HK air travel bubble deferred for two weeks: Ong Ye Kung
He said they will review the new launch date within two weeks. |
13 without previous links today. I cannot see that number going down quickly. It's a shame as this would have been the start of something great for the region to get back to partial normality. Also have to add that Singapore is really just a shopping mall. Sentosa is as cultured as a walk down peel street at 2am with gollum by your side. Best to jump the border into Malaysia and really have a holiday (when it opens)

|
plus 61 international schools which the entire world will send their teenage kids to for safe environment.[Very little drugs]
Oh and 7 Trillion [yes Trillion]financial industry ofcourse. Why do you think they are so smug. |
Sinkieland
.... and the best drivers in the world
|
I'm beginning to believe that Pprune has lost any relevance...
|
about as much relevance as the HKAOA forums
|
It doesn’t matter. Chek Lap Kok is down 98-99% traffic volume. No bubble is going to change that
