Another clueless management

In this weeks Flight International, an article regarding SAS and recent service cancellation due crew shortages. And I quote: "We required more aircrew than anticipated", CEO also commented that "owing to a broader high demand for pilots, SAS suddenly lost some crews who had already been contracted, signed up and were about to start. Those crews, he said, received other offers and did not honour their contracts" (awww, breaks my heart ). "Some captains he adds had given notice to switch to international flights for other carriers (job offers) and left without serving notice periods". (...cue violins and tissues). This is the real world, not the LaLa land that CX management seem to currently inhabit. Welcome to airline aviation 101, 2018 style you silly 's. More headlines to come.

Grrr

Obviously SAS should manage their pilot retention problem by lowering their pay and conditions in order to attract top talent.

That’s what I’m told experts in this field have advised....
