Emirates cuts flights due pilot shortage

Dear Anna and Rupert,

You are obviously living in an alternate universe. For those of us in the real world, here is the latest news:

Emirates to cut flights due to shortage of Pilots ? News In Flight

From a management friend in EK, he tells me the real number is closer to 400-500 pilots short. Interestingly, CX is also cutting flights throughout the network, to try and hide their own growing shortage. The difference is, EK management can at least have a semblance of honesty and reality in their statements, instead of Anna's claim that 'resignations are at the NORMAL level'. Anna, refer to Websters and look up the definition of bull. You obviously don't seem to understand it.

Qantas too

An interesting thread here that suggests that Qantas may have to cancel flights due to pilot shortage. We all know where this is heading for CX.

QF have the equivalent of four 737s parked and high hours on other types.

The ratio of applicants to positions is quite low for a legacy carrier, perhaps a quarter of what it once was.

It is odd ........all airlines except CX actually are admitting that they short of crew......
Dont worry AT everyone loves CX and no one is actually looking for other jobs

Maybe big boy PC should email another mail out to his SO's and give them more lies and lies and lies....... guess when you been not telling the truth your whole career it becomes normal.

Thanks to people like him ....... say goodbye to many of your pilots...
