Pig Cutting

Had to laugh when I saw this. The KA bo$$, KA DFO in cahoots with Anna and her cronies. All one happy club. Sickening.

Anecdotally & alledgidly, the KA Director Operations had written (in edible ink ) on the underside of the poor pig: DPA Pilots. Sliced n diced. Here's to Zero % in 2018 & 2019.

Pig Cutting

You must tell all your non HK based friends (don't have to be flight crew) about this.
Imagine a company that after gambling on fuel prices and loosing massive amounts of money, just finished firing 800 people and is now rationalising all their changes and celebrating that fact.... How you ask:
Hire a company to kill (sacrifice) and cook a baby pig so that Senior Managers can cut it up and say a word to the baby pig god and pray that things will be better.
I also would bet that a paid Feng Shui master was involved to point the 2 DFO desks in the proper direction to bring maximum good luck and burn some very expensive incense..

Say it aint sooooooo

The Ka DFO ran off with his DH. And had a kid. Need we say more.
Ugly Anna , you are safe from his advances. You hardly are the epitome of healthy middle age. A fine example of expat excess that is so despised by the local chinese.

Kahooha. Lowering the tone, admittedly from a very low base in the first place. Looks aside, the current DFO is probably the smartest adversary we've had on the opposite side of the desk in a long time.

Not so sure about smartest, I would say Rhodent is every bit as bright, but Anna is certainly more sly. She uses her female nurture to give big hugs while stabbing you right through the kidney with her dagger. The lies are still there, just more craftily veiled. CX realized that the pilots had finally figured out the previous, sledgehammer, intimidation-tactic type of DFOs.

She is a hard-nosed, sharp-pencilled bean counter just like the others. Don't let the absence of male genitalia fool you into thinking she is in any way different than what we have seen in the past. She is taking orders from the same people her predecessors did. Her remit is the same, to cut costs to remedy this management manufactured crisis caused by horrific fuel gambles. In the past, it was SARS, 9/11, GFC, etc.

CX never lets a good crisis go to waste. Make no mistake, we all are being asked to pay for decades of CX HR mismanagement and billions in fuel hedging bets gone bad. Subtract out those losses and CX is still very profitable despite the mismanagement. There is a way to manage better without slashing and burning the CoS. The CMP is a start, but I can guarantee even that will be bastardized and abused to the point of lose-lose, even though win-win is entirely possible.

Our response should be to stand up to the bully. Even though she doesn't look, talk, or act like one; that's all she is. Make no mistake, there is nothing different this time around except that the "crisis" is self inflicted.

The only reason they pat you on the back is to find the soft spot where they can stick the knife.
