It seems our own Gen Sec thinks this is disappointing. Perhaps a sentence reminding us all that CC and the TB remain 100% in place would have been more representative of the result. His obvious bias is a disgrace.

Wonder if RH little email "that trickled down form of initimidation" was the nail that pushed it to no ...

Well done that letter was my nail.....yes we are rebuilding trust but if you say no then you dont get anything.

Standby for the sweetener to get 5% over the line.

Conversely, you can again give the NC your wish list and requirement list for what they need to change.
'O' days, clause7, free reserve, precise wording of clauses etc.

Scoreboard,

Are u suggesting a senior member of the company shot himself and CX in the foot by intimidating its workforce?

No. Never. They wouldn't make the same mistake again and again and again.....

Shows how well CX knows the AOA, the 50%+1 target was only just missed.

Imagine the deal if we needed a 2/3rd majority to pass a TA

....who are the morons who would 'abstain'. Hope they aren't in command of any CX aircraft.

One win for the intelligent forward thinkers who wish to remain as a respected and intelligent body of professional pilots and a big loose for the Hogdaddy bully team.

Thank you to the members of the GC, you do a lot of unpaid, thankless & often harshly criticized work. You do a lot more work on this than I would. I believe most are just as appreciative as I am.

Unfortunately the final deal offered was nowhere near good enough, in fact it was a flat out insult, underpinned by veiled threats from AT & intimidation tactics from RH. Thank you to those who took the time to understand why this offer had to be rejected & then had the spine to say NO. I feel a solidarity brewing that has been absent for years amongst our colleagues & it feels real good !

This company should be aiming for a yes vote off 100% not 51%.

The free reserve is utterly obscene.
Not even the last regional in the US has that

Trafalgar:

I'm more concerned about the people who chose not to vote. At least the ones who abstained chose to sit on the fence and watch how it turns out.

Nice to see the short term monetary gain was beaten by the integrity of the majority. Well done to those who voted NO. Hopefully this unity will see a better result.

There was a post on the Gen Sec, with attachments, some time ago here on the Prune. If memory serves, someone tried to stop the Gen Sec from representing the AOA. A number of members that had served under him previously, wrote about him. He needs to be removed as does the President. They simply have not served in the best interest of the membership. The GC, and NC need the membership to dictate what is acceptable and not. Negotiating without consulting the membership is unacceptable. The NO vote has made it clear to the company and the AOA. If they decide not to take heed, they too must be removed. They are doing more damage to the AOA than helping us with this nonsense. They must act in the best interest of the membership at all times. The directive was clear and it was ignored. This was in contravention of CC and the TB. WE lost some members because of this. It sends a mixed and hypocritical message.

Now, I think it is in the best interest of the company and AOA to fix this TA and I do believe it can and will be fixed. It has to or the company and the AOA is doomed for failure. You cannot run an operation like this. The major typhoon coming to TPE, and the email, is indication that they need us onside.

W need to use this time to prove our value. Continue to wear the red lanyard but, behave, dress appropriately on the street and at work. Time is on our side.

I assume you're not putting this horse manure about the NC & GC on the members website because you're not a member. They've done a fine job, democracy has spoken and they are the exact same people I'd like to see back in the room renegotiating. Without the company's ex chief negotiator present there's even a slim chance they might find a deal more worthy of our members.

To the GC and NC, thank you for all your hard work and giving us the best offer we could get at the time. It must be disappointing to see this result both from the company and us.

Let's keep our chin up, carry on for the next negotiations, there must be a way to get an agreement.

We're not too far off.
