G day callouts.
short flights long nights
Not being a CX pilot, just how many pilots are Cathay short of? They sure seem to have problems crewing aircraft.

Was asked to "help out" on my G for a Toronto flight today. Check crew direct later to see who are the heroes of the day. Only to find out the flight departed with 3 crew to YYZ??? How is that possible?

OK, last time I checked the flight departed at 6:40pm with 3 crew. It was probably not updated when they were still looking for the fourth crew. The flight finally left with 4 crew 2 hours later.

Just what exactly is it that makes you sick Pilotxxx?.....I hope it's just the fact he worked on a G day. If it's because he's on a base, or that he has a good roster, then that would just be a case of sour grapes, and your angst might be better directed toward the company

Actually I think this is a load of crap on a public forum. If you are going to start the accusations and finger pointing do it on the AOA forum.

Currently they have used a captain rostered to perform a regional flight to crew the JNB, and called another CN on reserve to crew the displaced cn's regional. I hope the captain that they are trying to use tells them he is not rested for a long haul, especially one that signs 90 minutes after his original report.
