G day callouts.

No more airbus SOs taking G day callouts tonight. CX135/197. Crew control can only try.

swh 3rd Aug 2014 12:37

Has that flight been delayed ?

AQIS Boigu 3rd Aug 2014 12:53

BP,

ACMS 3rd Aug 2014 13:05

SWH----a look at the computer should tell you that........no.

crewsunite 3rd Aug 2014 13:26

You SO are a Brave lot ! Awesome!!

Well done your bravery in numbers will reward you greatly.

You guys have nothing to lose esp Now! :D

Its also great to see the rest of us can "generally" following suit!

boxerpilot 3rd Aug 2014 13:59

Guy on reserve was not called during the day who was on lots of OT. Called him after his reserve period. .... Sorry cannot.

Bob Hawke 3rd Aug 2014 15:23

That was clever of CC. not.

Pogie 3rd Aug 2014 22:28

Take note of the g-day workers' names. No jumpseats, and no sectors for those selfish pricks!

goathead 4th Aug 2014 04:16

Looking for some g'day heroes tonight , FRA & JNB ..... Whose going to step up to collect there medal

boxerpilot 4th Aug 2014 05:12

Once flights gets posted it's easy to see who didn't come off reserve to 'step up' on the master roster I suppose

boxerpilot 4th Aug 2014 12:54

So if I didn't read the master roster wrong. It was a duty change? Called up a day earlier? So that I can better understand how the ball will be passed to the next day to find someone for Cx233

At this stage of the game G / L day workers = SCABS

bogie30 7th Aug 2014 00:37

840 today,Capt giving himself 8 days off by working on his G tomorrow.

AQIS Boigu 7th Aug 2014 01:01

Yep...and a full member...

Commuters are a cancer to any industrial campaign...

840 is still short by an FO as well...

airplaneridesrfun 7th Aug 2014 01:48

Guys, G day workers are not SCABS. We are not on Contract Compliance, nor are guys on the street walking the picket line with SCABS working in the flight deck. There is nothing wrong with working a G day - it's your choice! However, working a Leave day is pretty stupid.... but your own deal if you don't have a life. The sad part about this all is if we were compensated properly, and the airline crewed properly; none of this would be an issue.

With that said, working G days gives the company flexibility that should be taken away as soon as contract compliance is instigated.

What a totally stupid comment you have made.

Does the AOA have to really issue a directive to the membership to not work G days? It should be blatantly obvious to all that working a G day to "help out" is not acceptable.

Do you ever want a payrise?

You obviously are a G day worker yourself and the only "help out" is to help yourself out.

Wouldn't mind betting that you are crewing 840 today.

badairsucker 7th Aug 2014 04:53

840 and 846

both non RQ FOs are G day heros:ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh::ugh:

joblow 7th Aug 2014 06:06

Very disappointing ,

In this case there is absolutely no possible doubt

scavengepump 7th Aug 2014 06:39

As if 846's g day FO's roster wasn't good enough already??
If you were on res today and still waiting for the phone to ring you would be furious with this pair of self serving pricks!!
The 840 g day chums, FO and CN get to piss in each other's pockets in NY...
Wankers.

At this stage of the game G / L day workers = SCABS
Shep69, I can guarantee you are not American or Aussie so you have NO F'ING IDEA what a SCAB is!

Plain and simple, a SCAB is someone who crosses a picket line to work. You are an idiot.

Have a look here http://wlstorage.net/file/airline-pilot-scab-list.pdf to see the REAL SCABS who work for CX such as Wor... and Cru...

After God had finished the rattlesnake, the toad, and the vampire, he had some awful substance left with which he made a scab.

A scab is a two-legged animal with a corkscrew soul, a water brain, a combination backbone of jelly and glue.

Where others have hearts, he carries a tumor of rotten principles.

When a scab comes down the street, men turn their backs and angels weep in heaven, and the devil shuts the gates of hell to keep him out.

No man (or woman) has a right to scab so long as there is a pool of water to drown his carcass in, or a rope long enough to hang his body with.

Judas was a gentleman compared with a scab. For betraying his master, he had character enough to hang himself. A scab has not.

Esau sold his birthright for a mess of pottage.

Judas sold his Savior for thirty pieces of silver.

Benedict Arnold sold his country for a promise of a commission in the British army.

The scab sells his birthright, country, his wife, his children and his fellowmen for an unfulfilled promise from his employer.

Esau was a traitor to himself; Judas was a traitor to his God; Benedict Arnold was a traitor to his country.

A scab is a traitor to his God, his country, his family and his class.
