CX A330 Delivery

I was looking through some old photos and came across one of an A330 delivery from Toulouse to Hong Kong on 27th June 1996.[date on the photo]
Out of curiosity I looked up the Airbus A330 deliveries to Cathay Pacific but can find none which match that date or even time frame.
Any history buffs in this group perhaps have an idea which aircraft this was.

Sounds more like the A340 VR-HXA (now B-HXA), the A330 around then was VR-HYD.

According to my data A340 HXA was delivered on 27 June 1996.
HYD was delivered in April 96. There were no CX A330 deliveries in mid 96.

Many thanks you are correct.
On closer scrutiny the aircraft does have a center main bogey so its an A340. Pity one cannot attach/post photos.

The photo angle did not show any hair dryers and I mistook the twin wheel bogey for the nose gear.
I should have scanned and enhanced the photo first. lesson learnt!
