I challenge that! Get it on the Dirty Freighter.
Orange Pekoe free at ANC Sheraton, Hot Water, Cold Water, Lemon, Ice, Dry Ice and ingenuity all available on the aircraft - Enjoy! Try getting Captain Long-Sleeved Silk Pants to draw a "Crew Flow Chart" for that one.

"To all of the Americans in Cathay who consistently whine and carry on about how bad Cathay is on PPRuNe and the AoA forums this post is directed at you.
All of this posting about COS, hiring targets and other benefits of US carriers while complaining about CX is making me nauseous.
Please will you just resign and go home to work at one of these airlines that you are so desperate to tell us all about.
Otherwise, STFU.
Regards"
Now Hydrolicks,
You are being the perfect example of the stereotypical CX control freak who can't stand to think it is done better at other airlines outside of your only option. How many CX tattoos do you have hidden under those long sleeves? We don't want to resign and go home as we prefer to stay at CX and torment you with our Americanisms since your so easy to wind up mate! Now harden up!
Cheers

Erm... Is that a joke?
It takes a special kind of ignorance to pretend that the US training standards from zero to ATP are anything close to what they should be.
This is the nation that gives us zero to CFI/CFII/MEI in 90 days.
Sure, the chaps at at the major carriers are very experienced, but that is purely a result of the US airline industry being in the toilet.
UPS and SWA have proven to us within the last couple of months that the US system (which, lets face it, is experience above everything) is hugely flawed.

Quite correct.. Seems a French or German bloke was likely the first to fly fixed wing under power, but its a bit late to get all that history changed.. so inconvenient. Not in our time I'm afraid.
But back to the PPRUNE of this , and I for one, would much rather see the 45+ year old Ozzies f'eck off. The Europeans, North America's and Kiwis thank you for your service.. now leave. You're f'ecking impossible to live with.

.........Envy is a propensity to view the well-being of others with distress, even though it does not detract from one's own. [It is] a reluctance to see our own well-being overshadowed by another's because the standard we use to see how well off we are is not the intrinsic worth of our own well-being but how it compares with that of others. [Envy] aims, at least in terms of one's wishes, at destroying others' good fortune.
I find that working with Americans is easier that with other tribes..........
