"Do come and join us when things are much brighter and promising"

Yet another HKAOA member intimating that pilots who turn Cathay down will recieve employment once the ban is lifted. But will you or anyone in your Union lift a finger to try and ensure that happens?

Fotze: Regardless of the merits or otherwise of your posting, your handle is offensive and worth reporting to a moderator.

WOW, Alpha Leader, it doesn't take much to offend you does it?

You seem to spend a lot of time correcting other peoples spelling and getting offended by names. Maybe it is YOU that needs to get a life!!!!!!!

Please don't REPORT me.

Well Alpha, I would be reluctant to use your handle either on a public forum, a bit presumtuous perhaps?

Alpha;
adj.8. (esp. of animals) having the highest rank of its sex in a dominance hierarchy: the alpha female.

HotDog:

Being presumptuous (which is presumably the term you were looking for) is one thing, being offensive and vulgar another.

F might even be trying to make an honest effort to accurately describe himself/herself, but the fact remains that you would not be permitted to use the English term in this forum.

Another subtle point that you might have missed is that F only started posting under this handle after cxkate (whose identity and gender has, admittedly, been questioned) began this thread. So on top of the generally inappropriate use of foul language there is also the specific issue of a female audience.

And BTW: my handle has nothing to do with ecological evolution - just something left over from the old air force days

HotDog:

I am not a native of an English-speaking country, so Red Arrows is wide of the mark.

Luftwaffe then?

I have had the privilege to log many hours of flight with three ex Red Arrows leaders. Officers and Gentlemen they all were, all highly skilled pilots, yet in a most unassuming way. Thank you R.H. B.M. & J.B. It was a pleasure flying with you.

Hi Traffic, you are very perceptive. Actually, it was only a typo, not worth a mention but I can spell better in English than Hungarian anyway. Cheers, HD.

The only connection is that many many years ago CX did have an Australian ex-Luftwaffe pilot of Hungarian extraction!!

Speaking of linguists....

HD

Have you still got that little Japanese dictionary that used to come in so useful?
