Simulator in your own time

Great offer from CP 747 that if you want some extra training on the 744-8 they can find the Sim time and Instructor, but you do it 'in your own time'. Nice - and saves money too. Just wondering why you'd need extra training if the existing course is adequate?

Define adequate?

To me, it's a word that is so subjective it has absolutely no place in aviation whatsoever.

Yet there will be volunteers, I can guarantee you that. It usually the same people who like working for free.
