Pilot Dies because of toxic air.
Very sadly we lost two more pilots recently due to contaminated cabin air.

It would appear that the linked article is a little short on elements that might make the connection between the deaths and so-called aerotoxic syndrome - I think they're called 'facts'.
Did these pilots fly the same type of aircraft? Did they fly the same aircraft repeatedly? How often did they report events where they had to don their oxygen masks as a result of a fumes event. How have the pilots that flew with them been affected? Where is the citation for the reference to CAA reports about the donning of oxygen masks? It seems there were 29 CAA reported events in 2011 where MORs included the donning of oxygen masks (and of those, few were due to oil contamination). The list goes on and I'm sure such questions will be asked in court.
It's tragic when people die prematurely, and I'm clearly playing devil's advocate, but until this syndrome is actually proven to exist how about not making statements such as:

I would think that more guys in the front end are succumbing to the effects of radiation as opposed to toxic air (...BAE 146..etc..)..maybe the study should also spin into the overall effects that prematurely hit pilots..the increase in skin cancers is a scandal...

Correct......
Gofor you are quite right....the airlines have been trying to keep this quiet for years, and have for the most part been successful. But for the efforts of a few (mostly very ill pilots and cabin crew) the industry would never have had a case to answer. It is a shame that people have to die before attention is given to the issue. I speak almost every day to pilots that have been cast aside by the industry. Most will never fly again, many will never work again, almost all will remain ill for the rest of their lives. Criminal.
