744 to Airbus
To the 8 most junior HKG based 744 pax line captains who will be obliged to transfer to the "Renault of the Skies" I'd just like to say; "Bad Luck!".

Thankfully there will be an unlimited supply of "Rapid Command" freighter captains who are just now becoming eligible for pax command. Hey Presto, lots of guys at the bottom of the 744 pax command seniority list who will be sent straight to the Airbus.
The scarebus is a lot better ADD wise than the 744.
I know what I'd rather be on.
The queen of the skies was a fantastic machine in its day but it's too old now.
Get over it.

The 8 most junior doesn't necessarily mean 8 who just got their commands on the 400.
Vol 7... ZFT eligibility...must do 500 hours AND 100 sectors in current role before eligible for conversion to another type.
Does that mean CX can change that? Sure. But, it does offer at least 6 months perhaps, before being eligible, in the meantime...those just becoming eligible for pax command or volunteers can fill the gap. Either way...just a matter of time before the draft catches up.
Canada still accepting draft dodgers like before?
