Must be the 15th...
CX crew direct has ground to a halt again, even before the roster is out.
The guy who pointed out last month that it should be emailed had it right.
Hope these IT guys don't go to work for Google, it'll take days to get a search...

1925 HKT and 'Published Roster' '...page does not exist' .
Do these people try to be incompetent or does it just come naturally?

Try calling the help desk...
I called and it came back online just long enough to view and print my published roster. 5 minutes later it went back down again. It seems she rebooted the crew direct system while I was on the phone.
Maybe if 2500 people complain about the same issue, they'll address it.

If we all stop using crew direct due to unreliability, THEN it MAY get fixed. Have to agree, why can we not forward our company email to another email address, and why does the company simply email the published roster for all?
"We don't invest in software changes or current hardware technology due to the ever-changing technological advances in the IT world." Hence our gorgeous staff travel ticket order system. But must admit, they don't waste money for fun, well, at least not in IT. OK, stand corrected, didn't we order EFB's? Talk about a contradiction!

Based roster; 10-13 days off, three A days, four up and backs and just enough regional flying that can be turned into free reserve to get me out of overtime.
I'm in no rush to see another month of that
(but I do agree with the sentiment that how fricking hard would it be to email you the roster).

As frustrating at times it might be to get stuck in IntraCX, let's not forget the 15th is actually a great date for a roster. All the companies I worked for had their roster published much later.
I can't believe I just defended CX. Maybe I shouldn't have opened the second bottle

Geepers - you're an idiot. She was, and probably still is, actually a very nice lady. So with respect, this aspect has done its day.
With regard to crew direct, even this morning it is woeful. Trying to get to the real time roster only ever takes you back to the main crew direct page. My call to the help line was "Yes we are having some problems". Now there's an understatement!
More people need to let those in a position of power to change this antiquated system, that it just not up to the task.
Clearly they are not employing the brightest and best in this area.

Idiots
Long Time in CX. I can assure you I am anything but an idiot. i do however have a keen sense of humour. I would say this however, work your roster however "late" it may be and be thankful that in a very unforgiving world you are employed by an airline that rewards you fairly. The medcine the airline dishes out may sometimes be bitter but it survives in a very harsh environment and pays your mortgage. You and others (including the King of BJ) would be well advised not to take your good fortune for granted. Just do your Job. (ps I am not in mamagement or C&T)

Yes a keen sense indeed. The same joke on two separate threads on two consecutive days. Can tell you are proud of your thought provoking, witty and very clever joke. Have you noticed the thread in the jet blast forum, the jokes have been done to death but think you should slip yours in there also so all can can have a jolly good laugh as it's of a different league to the other one liners going around.

PS: Anytime you feel the need to disclaim that you are not in management or CT, then you sir, might be a dush.

Then that just makes you a plain old dushbag.

If only it was the correct spelling it would have had so much more impact.
