Sunglasses

It's time for some new sunglasses and I recall a couple of years ago a captain telling me of a shop in Citygate, Tung Chung that gave CX a good deal on Serengeti's. Does anyone know if this is still the case, or have any other recommendations?

Save yourself some money and search Serengeti on www.amazon.com.

Cool

There are a couple of good stores at Citygate. There is the Sunglass Hut Outlet store (Down near the Novotel) but I can't recall if they sell Serengetti's. There are two eyeglass stores, one on the third floor across from Esprit and then a place in the Fu Tung Mall on the other side of the MTR. I bought two pairs of Oakley's in Fu Tung and saved at least 200 USD over buying them in the US!

Worth a look at least!

One CAN, of course have the job done properly.
Either off-the-peg graduated from relatively dark at the top to clear at the bottom or have your prescription lenses with a graduated tint.

The Links Vision Care

Hi,

The shop near Citygate is called "The Links Vision Care"

110B, 1F
Fu Tung Shopping Centre
Tung Chung
2687 3093

Cross the MTR station at Tung Chung into Fu Tung shopping centre and keep walking around to the left past the escalators and past the HSBC money machine. You will find the shop on the left before you come to the dead end.

Still giving 20% discount to aviation staff.

Cheers

Jayto

Rumour is a keen 777 F/O is sorting out a deal with Serengeti to supply the Original CX 777 Fleet Sunglasses. Or if you don't fly the 777 you could go to Leo Optic in IFC, with your ID and you'll get 25% off.

Just the suggestions I was looking for. Many thanks for all those.

MT: SO to JFO coming soon, so I need to prepare myself for what life looks like during daylight hours.
