The Dfo Wants Pilots To Join The Hkaoa

In his friday update the DFO wrote:

"The association has provided more detailed information to its members
than that contained in the DFO update. I am aware that a significant
proportion of our pilots are not in receipt of HKAOA communications and
as a result, will have heard only second-hand the further details
released by the association about the broader principles described. It
had been the Company’s intention to enter into joint communications on
issues surrounding COS 08 as it was felt this would avoid
misunderstandings. I am still hopeful that we may achieve that goal in
future efforts. Nevertheless I am aware that non-members may feel
disadvantaged as a result."

Therefore it seems the best way to not be disadvantaged would be to join the HKAOA.

Good post!

Yes proof that the AoA are better than you being on your own with this Co.

Ie The Co. mentioned just a few differences in Cos 08 vs 99.
then said trust us just sign this before you wake up!

The AoA has gained more time & will give comprehensive differences soon.

They'll also push to have this deal thrown out until next year once all the details have been ironed out.

If more joined & helped AoA this would certainly be more effective.

Yes AoA is not perfect but certainly better than being on our own!

Yes, I agree with the DFO, you all need to join the AOA. If he is endorsing it, then you know it is good.

Flying Kiwi,

I sent my application in recently and had a confirmation email the next day. I followed it with a phone call. IT's been easy, but as mentioned I'm sure they're flat out. Good luck

Thanks AOA

Thanks AOA for the introduction of B Scales. Thanks for DEFOs. Thanks for taking me from 700 hours per year to 900. Thanks for pissing away 5-4-3 Rule. Thanks for not offering A Scale to 65 to the membership for their vote. Thanks for the 49ers. Thanks for then ditching the 49ers.

cxlinedriver...sorry but the last time I looked it was cx management that introduced all of that.

Trust me we would all be in a worst position if it was not for the HKAOA
