I fail to see what anyone gains out of this:
B Scale may continue on B Scale beyon 55
A Scale lose it all at 55
S/O 's will be disadvantaged by slower promotion due to the above.
What is there in return:
A months pay when the economy returns?
Credit hours worked on FDP instead of Block time?
Seniority based leave system?
It seems to me that nothing has changed in the managements attitude to Aircrew but to reduce all to the lowest common denominator.
The smart way is to say NO
