CX COO and the Olympic Torch
On Thursday, Chief Operating Officer John Slosar will run a section of the Olympic Torch relay in Ningbo, China. The following day the torch used by John will be put on display at Cathay City and staff will have the chance to have their photo taken with it to help boost the China earthquake relief fund.
The torch will be on display on The Street, close to the Park N Shop entrance, from 12.30pm on Friday. John will be there to kick off this latest fundraising activity and will be happy to pose with staff in their photographs against a special backdrop.
Please note the following:
* A donation of HK$100 is suggested
* Staff need to use their own cameras to take the photos
The photo booth will be open until 5.30pm on Friday and there will CX Volunteers on hand to help with photo-taking and the collection of donations. The booth will also be open at Cathay City on Monday from 8.30am to 5pm.
The Olympic Torch will then head on to other offices in Hong Kong, including KA House on Tuesday, HKIA on Wednesday, SuperTerminal 1 on Thursday (to be confirmed) and Hong Kong Office on Friday.
All money collected through this unique photo -memento will be matched dollar for dollar by the company to further boost the fund.
