Anyone involved in the fun at LHR T5?
Another fantastic "Heathrow Day". Ops Director Kirkwood made a quick statement to the assembled media about the 'teething troubles' and then fled through a glass door and vanished! He has a Degree from Oxford in Art History - or was it zoology?

Watching and reading it is identical to the last time I attempted to fly BA London Hong Kong.( June 2007 with lots of weather delay) Huge queues no sineage no BA personnel on the ground. Took me two hours to reach the so called baggage drop only to be told that I was too early to check in my baggage for my flight and please come back in two hours time ie join the back of the queue again.
Thought of writing a letter to W Walsh and inviting some redress but never did write nor did I ever fly BA again.
That was terminal 4 ....so what has changed??
