CX Keeps getting better!!!

A good ISM friend of mine told me last night that after her flight, she was called up by the manager for her department..He told her that the company is really hurting with lack of man power or girl power in the cabin and that he has been authorised to ask all the "good" ISM's if they would be prepared to help the company by working on there G days.

She promptly asked him what was in it for her, to which he responded, that they, the company, hadnt got around to working that part out but that when they did he would let her know.

They are hurting alot, every flight that i have done has been short at least 1 crew member to one flight that we were 3short and no seats empty on the flight, needless to say, the girls are furious!!!

I hope that Management comes along and tries to explain how they got it all wrong!!!!!

Well, hopefully they will have more integrity and back bone than some of our ranks and actually say no to working on a G day.

My last 3 flights have all been with 1-2 cabin crew short. The ISM told us her flight the previous week had 4 short.

But we aren't short of crew...

You only have to take a stroll thru CX City to see all of the new cabin crew recruits to know that they are short. They are even advertising on Craig's List..... Hired a white girl as well!!

It seems there is more...

Had lunch with a senior guy who was of the opinion that the old airbus training manager, GM, is making a come back to CX as the new airbus chief pilot..he is also rumoured to have told people that Dragonair is in for some serious hurting..he was infuring that there could be heads, pilots heads, rolling very shortly as the management is upset with how the guys reacted to the payrise....like thats all that was wrong at KA!!!

He also mentioned that drag/cx integration is already well into the planning stages and WILL be implemented sooner rather than later..

Guys, the road is about to get rough, i hope that we can all stand as one and not get pushed around...

Stay the course and stay as one...
