Hardly a poisoned chalice. The guy that held the position did so for quite some time, looking after the crew very, very well. He has left due to retirement age requirements within CX. He will be sorely missed. If they get someone at least half as good the crew will be doing well.

No doubt he was a a nice individual. However the job title is incorrect as a large proportion of the time they are away interviewing and not available for their primary function. Because of this I suffered a couple of incidents of extreme incompetence leading to problems/stress for my family and self.
