CX First female Captain
SCMP reporting that CX has just promoted its first female Captain, a
777 Captain though SCMP seems to think that CX is being very low key about the promotion in order to avoid attention to the (allegedly small) number of female flight deck crew employed by CX.
True or false??

CX has probably the most female pilots of any Asian or Middle eastern carrier. I guestimate there to be about 30.
Compare that to another 'modern ' Asian carrier which do not actually accept CV's for female applicants to their training scheme - and call their cabin crew 'Sing@#$$ GIRLS ' . At least at CX they are valued as WOMEN.
