It's a 2 day course run by a contractor.
You split into groups of about 4 people. The people are not all tech crew. There are also people from management, sales etc.
You have to design an airline and run it so that it makes money.
To start off you have an island that has a number of airports on the coasts. You can only fly clockwise or anti-clockwise to service the ports. As the game progresses, you can introduce shuttle services.
At the end of each round, the instructor puts everyones decisions into a computer and it simulates what might happen in real life. If 1 team cuts ticket prices, it takes seats from other teams etc. So 1 team can affect everyone else.
If anything it's a bit of a laugh and some fun.
Don't take any advice from me though, we lost 11M in the first week of ops and it went south from there.
