With the opportuntiy to join CX as an FO on the cargo fleet, I wish to know how others have found the move from the left-hand to the right-hand seat. Whilst I appreciate I have lot to learn about 747 operations I am apprehensive about how older/ experienced FO's are treated.

I understand the "Hitler Youth" captains treat all F/O's equally, regardless of age/experience
-Edited to appease Spleener-
I say this tongue in cheek as the "Hilter Youth" are my peers, and I know will get a laugh from it.

Abortt: LHS to CX RHS was in the past a common entry point to CX. Quite the norm in fact. Speaking from experience from both sides of the fence, the trainers to a man appreciate your previous expertise. However, it does pay to realise that it is CX's train set - it is normal human courtesy to recognise this and get along with learning the idiosyncracies of the CX way.
If you keep an open mind you'll enjoy it. Just do it!
jtr: Assertions of Hitler Youth etc reflect a need to get out more IMHO - your posts are generally of a much better technical quality!
