Smile Thanks CX Crew!

With all the gloom and complaints around these days, I just wanted to thank as directly as possible, the crew of two recent CX flights I and Mrs. Handy took recently. I have written directly to the Customer Services Department at CX City, but just in case our thanks are not passed on, I am taking the liberty of copying it here.

I apologise for addressing this fax to you if it is not your department, however I do not have any contact details for the Cabin Crew Department and would be grateful if you could pass it on.

I wish to extend the thanks of my wife and myself for the particularly attentive and pleasant service we received on the above two sectors of our recent vacation to UK.

The outbound flight was delayed by a couple of hours due to the late arrival of the aircraft from Adelaide/Melbourne however we were advised by telephone before we had left home which was really appreciated and were able to check-in a little later which meant not having to hang around the airport for too long with a youngster in tow. Congratulations to all for this service.

Although I am a FF with CPA, we were traveling for the first time long-haul with an infant, and although he was perfectly happy on board, the cabin crew made sure we had everything we needed when we needed it. Our son, although only 13 months old seems particularly attracted to your female crew!

Unfortunately, I did not make a note of the names of the crew, <slaps himself on the backside>, however this message is intended for all crew on both sectors in the economy cabin as they all stood out.

This also goes for the gate staff at HKG at LHR as they took care of our needs by way of relieving us of the stroller at the aircraft door and returning to us at destination without us even needing to ask. Thank you.

I hope senior Management are made aware of when their staff perform to the highest standard. During these difficult times for both companies and customers in regard to air travel, I must say that to me, CPA ranks as the best carrier, consistently, and wish all success in 2002.
