Just wondered if anyone knows what action the AOA is likely to take next? How long is the company able to let this go on?

I think you'll find that company is usually spelt company.
But never mind - we know what you mean.
The answer to your first question is - probably nothing recognisable to the aviation world post 911. Sorry.
