what do you think?
Geez! This is really disappointing. Years of applying, now an interview op, and everything I hear or read makes it sound like the sun has set on CX. Am I wasting time leaving a classic command at a worldwide charter operator for an FOs spot at a NA base with the cargo division of CX?

Not necessarily. Apply, and if you get the job, get a -400 rating, then leave for a better job with a better carrier. Send the half-wits that "manage" CX a message: Pay better salaries and have better conditions of service, and you keep your personnel.
