I reckon we should encourage WTFAW to keep posting anti-HK messages. That way we become more of a precious commodity over here and the sky becomes the limit. Oh, and a side-benefit is that we don't get to fly with the likes of him..?

As evidenced by the extremely poor turnout (two) for second round interviews in the Uk, it appears that supply has diminished somwhat, but no signs of demand abating. Clearly the package has fallen behind world standard for expats and needs to be improved.

I received an email for the London interview this month for KA, this has now been changed to Australia.
If anyone has been through the first interview would you mind posting your experience or PM me, I have used the search function but I need to fine tune a few areas, 126.9 - you out there ?.

It seems that poor WTFAW is getting jumped on by all you happy people who relocated to HKG. We all have to to look at our own personal situation and I for one would agree with him. The decision not to uproot your kids is an unselfish one. Whether or not it is worth it to move to a different country (or even a different part of the world!) is a difficult decision to make. Yanking your kids away from friends and family, especially at a sensitive age, is seldom the best solution (speaking here from personal experience) just to get a better job.
For all of you happy pilot families in HKG or wherever, I'm happy for you! Really. Nothing beats home in the long run though....
