Panshanger is THE place to be to learn the trade!
If you learn the FI trade here at Panshanger, you can do it anywhere: relatively small grass strip, very basic equipped aircraft, British weather, limited and congested airspace, a nerve wrecking invoice software, no lunch breaks, neighbours complaining by phone after EACH take-off 100 yards off-track and a CFI who can come across at times as rather intimidating...
But if you learn to deal with all this, instructing at any other place should be peanuts...
All ex-Panshangerians I know have descent jobs now in aviation and know how to appreciate it!
Thanks H.M.!

Travel north a bit to Andrewsfield. You get the same grass strip and everything that goes with it without the intimidating CFI.

Choosing where to do your training is SO important. Panshanger would not be on my list.
Carol Cooper at Andrewsfield is great.
If Lindsey is still doing it at Bourn, I would recommend that too even though it's further away.
Fly with people who love flying, not with people who love money or those who love themselves.
