SEP and TMG instructing

Hi,

If someone qualifies with JAA FI(R) they can teach on SEP aircraft (with valid SEP rating).

If a newly qualified FI(R) also holds a Touring Motor Glider (TMG) rating on there license, can they instruct on a TMG aircraft?

Many thanks

Yes, provided you can find a TMG with a C of A that is maintained to public transport standards and do it from a licensed aerodrome. But you should know that, or where to look it up from what you have learned on your JAA FI(R) course. Privileges of your licence and rating.

Hi Whopity,

Thanks for the reply... I haven't actually done the FIC yet, hopefully that will be in the coming weeks. I do have some brushing up to do though.

Thanks again
