Complex Flying On NPPL

I have a pilot who has an NPPL and wants to fly a Pioneer 300 VLA a seat seat permit aircraft. This aircraft has a wobbly prop and pull up legs.

Do I just do the standard differences training?

VLA and Differences

Yes!

As long as it is registered as a VLA. If registered as a Microlite the pilot will need an NPPL Microlite licence.

Cheers, I thought it was the case. It is a VLA. It was just the Simple Single Engine description that had me think twice and so ask!
