Flying Instructors & Examiners A place for instructors to communicate with one another because some of them get a bit tired of the attitude that instructing is the lowest form of aviation, as seems to prevail on some of the other forums!

CPL/IR with differing ATPL

Anyone come across the situation as below:

Malaysian CPL (completed Ukcaa ATPL papers) as malaysia uses CAA exam standards.

Thinking of going to australia to convert to a casa CPL followed by doing an IR.

So end result will be a CASA CPL/IR and a UKCAA ATPL theorydone in malaysia. The question is will this work for most airline or regulatories or do i need to do the CASA ATPL over again?

any comments appreciated. Thks

I think that you will find that to claim ATPL level knowledge it will need to be conducted under the auspicies of the same State as the Licence issue.
